A Womans Guide to Fasting

Christians often give Guide to MOBI #9734 up on fasting or don't try it at all because they lack thorough advice Most fasting books explain the biblical reasons to fast but they provide inadeuate practical guidance This This is not my usual cup of tea style book I struggle with my weight and it has been documented here on Self Employed Writercom than once I did not choose to review this book because I felt it was going to help me shed a few pounds I wanted to review this book because I wanted to have a better understanding in the biblical fasting What I learned is that fasting does not have to be about that empty feeling in your stomach the headaches the lazy feeling or the high stress that fasting can cause When I thought of fasts in the past I thought there was no way someone with a full time job a student or even a mom could go through a fast when food provided the energyIn a biblical fast God provides the energy In this book you will learn how fasting can fit in to a busy schedule how one should prepare their mind and body for a fast how to spiritually prepare for a fast tips things to do advice to follow cautions to be aware of how to end a fast safely warning signs when to uit and how to make the most of a non food fastI also learned that fasting isn t about giving up food going on liuids only or just giving up a certain type of food It can also be a fast from the internet television or other things that are keeping you from listening to God That is especially useful for people who have diabetes or hypoglycemia and simply can t be without food I recommend this book to anyone who has been interested in fasting spiritually in the past or those interested now
