Reminded me exactly of Captive in the Millionaire's CastleOnly here the meeting was dramtaic and the heroine gets pregnantStill the storyline is identical because they go to some secluded place where they 'bond' and 'get to know' each other

DisappointingIt was technically well written and the author has skill but the characters were dull and unlikable their motivations were childish and unconvincing the descriptions of the various locations were weak so the world didn't feel 3D to me some of the dialogue felt sexist and slightly worrying Did not really enjoy it

3 Endearing Stars “I’m not looking for a hero All I want is a man who’s willing to spend the rest of his life with me because he loves me I’m not looking for perfection Just someone a little flawed like myself who’ll be as accepting of my less than perfect ualities as I would be of his” Maya has had to overcome much in her short life Her father was a renowned artist known as much for his party lifestyle as for his art He died leaving his young daughter with nothing but bad memories and the desire to be loved Now she finds herself working for Blaise Walker a well known actor and playwright She tries to fight her attraction for him because of who he is and his fame but it’s a losing battle Blaise has his own demons to battle and he has no desire for a commitment Together they agree to an affair that soon becomes so much This was a Good Read Enjoyable and sweet Maya is endearing and Blaise well he’s a guy ☺

I actually thought this novel was uite a bit better than the others I've read by Maggie Cox There have been very few that I'm favorable to with her as an author but still I want to give her the benefit of the doubt This one was planned out and it was done correctly in my mind I only wish the ending might of been a bit longer possibly and epilogue to tell us how they went on with life after they faced some tragic and dire circumstances but overall I was pleased
