Eat guy and sex advice in a very girly way There's a great sex scene and a happily ever after ending This book had amazing potential two lonely dog lovers who meet at the dog run is a great excuse for instant chemistry There was great potential to amplify their attraction for one another through their mutual love for dogs and their mutual respect for how well each of them had trained their canine companions My instincts tell me that this author had a grand vision from this book She gave us details such as the heroine's status as a cop the hero's status as a widow the cliuish nature of a group of regulars at the dog park that prepare the reader for rich story development and setting commentary But instead of leading us anywhere with the many promising breadcrumbs that were dropped the overall story never fully came together and the critical need for there to be an emotional connection between the characters was never realizedThe sex was awkward The character execution didn't line up with the character traits that had been introduced The maturity of the characters didn't gel with their ages life stages or careers Also the use of humor was confusing It wasn't always clear whether the story was intended to be serious or tongue in cheek The bones were good but the execution was poor By the end of this book I found myself wishing that the author simply re approach the story with a better edit In its current form I can't recommend this book

Reviewed by Annie Arcane A free copy was provided by the authorInitial thoughtsuick fun read with some pretty decent sizzle going onWhat I lovedThis short story was a nice showcase of Desalada's writing style which was straightforward and snappy with a humorous undertone I especially enjoyed the funny moment where the author appeared as an actual character and gave the heroine sex advice plugged her book without apology then vanished Such a cute and clever marketing idea The chemistry between Jahn and Joss was also very believable considering the brevity Plus I loved that they were both copsWhat left me wantingHmm This is somewhat difficult to explain but I personally prefer to feel characters vs hear them The constant Oooooh ?? and 's made me imagine Joss as always suealing aloud in excitement about everything including sex view spoiler“Your pussy smells great and I'm sure it tastes better” Wait That sounds familiar That's right He said that same line outside the sushi restaurant Now I know what he meant when he said the same thing about the sushi He was referring to my pussy instead of the sushi I made the connection I'm so proud of myself I love it I love his hints hide spoiler

From the other reviews on this book I'm not sure I read the same book they did but I review everything I read so here goesThe good Few spelling mistakes The author committing to writing and publishing a book which is never to be sneezed atUnfortunately that's where the good ends for meThe cover does not imply the genre in any way At first I thought this was a farce with the author going for the highest count of in a book and classic style errors such as repetition telling rather than showing poor word choice punctuation problems stilted dialogue but it isn't From her inner thoughts the main character is believable as a 13 year old dreaming of have an Adult Married Life than a 31 year old police officer Descriptions of dogs pooping and how impressive it is that he looks after his dog a police dog but doesn't pick up after it in public places Having a climax explained to her by a friend the author as if at 31 she's never had one was oddIn the one erotic scene the author managed to get the word 'clris' in eight times in one paragraph Oh and instalove after one doggy play dateWoweee The electric feeling just got electrifiedOOOoooooooooooohhh I'm going over that cliffSorry Tassa didn't do it for me I just found myself counting the o's and I suggest readers pay attention to the 'look inside' before buying this one I'm afraid I can't recommendI'd be happy to re read if the author revises

This book had left me in splits It was uite a funny read However it was categorized as erotica and in fact there was an intensely erotic scene in there But the way the scene was written it felt like a s comedy than an eroticaJoss is 30 woman who owns a dog She meets Jahn another dog lover like her and the two get along with each otherThis book has a class of its own It’s author’s intense raw and unsophisticated take on sexual intimacy between a man and a woman and I enjoyed it However there were some strange words that gave a bad taste For instance b crack and wrong holeThere was uite a usage of OOOOhhhh and aaahhhs and that sounded even strangerAll in all if you want to read a s comedy and don’t bother about reading the phonetics of moans and whines this book will keep you entertained

Call Me Lady was a delicious read  The characters Tassa DeSalada has created are easy to engage with during this fun story They are relatable as well as entertaining and I loved the addition of some comic relief at times to add to the realism of their interactions The dialogue and action was paced well and added to the enjoyment of this read  I love how the style is snappy and how the characters are uick witted with their thoughts and reactions Dogs lonely cops and steamy romancewhat a great combination for this fun sexy erotic book  Great story You must read this as I am sure you will enjoy the ride I sure didI was left with a satisfied smile on my face even though I enjoyed it so much I did not want it to end
