Her Baby His Proposal

Brock Sullivan is a navy SEAL he lives by his own code of honor and he won't see Jesse pregnant and alone struggle He doesn't have to help her but he knows he can offer her security w This review is pretty spoiler heavyThe first third of this book was kind of cute and I was enjoying the marriage of convenience plot and Brock and Jesse's chemistry but things went downhill once the deployment happened; her whole pregnancy was so rushed and although the trading of emails back and forth was supposed to show them getting to know each other it was so brief that I didn't feel like their connection grew at all Things started to look up again once Brock returned home and there were some great moments of tension between them but then all we got was a fade to black scene ueue major disappointment I can of course enjoy a romance without sex but don't tease it if it's not gonna happenThen we got the last third of the book primarily focused on Brock's relationship with his family which honestly I didn't really care about that much because it kind of came out of nowhere and didn't even really make sense 18 years ago Brock's girlfriend died in a car crash when the car he was driving skidded off the road Since then he's been estranged from his entire family because in the aftermath of the crash he heard his brother saying that he was mad at Brock for killing his girlfriend I didn't understand why Brock's brother would be so devastated about his brother's girlfriend dying enough to not want to speak to Brock again especially when it's established that it was the girlfriend who wanted to drive in the fog that night And then it turns out his brother didn't even mean what he said and it was a misunderstanding all along Brock didn't speak to his family for 18 YEARS over that? The whole thing about Brock's family was SO stupid and solidified this as a 2 star read for me There were some cute moments between Brock and Jesse and I also liked seeing Brock bond with Allie but this would have been so much better if 1 the pregnancy and deployment wasn't so rushed and 2 the last third of the book was dedicated to Brock and Jesse's relationship rather than external drama surrounding his family Inside Las Vegas review is pretty spoiler heavyThe first third of this book was kind of cute and I was enjoying the marriage of convenience plot and Brock and Jesse's chemistry but things went downhill once the deployment happened; her whole pregnancy was so وجدان زنو rushed and although the trading of emails back and forth was supposed to show them getting to know each other it was so brief that I didn't feel like their connection grew at all Things started to look up again once Brock How To Fart - Louder, Longer, and Stronger...without soiling your undies! 25 at the most Mixed feelings about this The plot was awesome and had the potential to be a beautiful story However the plot was rushed her entire pregnancyhis deployment was practically skipped and his attitude once he came home injured were down right rude Left by her boyfriend Ted when he thought she might be pregnant after taking all her money Jesse Manning ends up working a double shift and passes out at Navy SEAL chief Brock Sullivan's feet Not taking no for an answer he takes her to the hospital and never leaves her side Always crushing on the beautiful young woman Brock had never let his feelings lead to action But now he can't help but want to help Jesse When one of his men get married Brock broaches the subject with Jesse Not only would she get his medical benefits but she could stay in his condo while he's deployed Accepting the proposal Jesse and Brock really connect as he shows her last minute details before he ships out Accompanying him to the dock where they sail off from Jesse promises to write everyday Never has Brock ever had someone care for him Time is showed changing by emails sent between the two as Jesse updates him on her pregnancy and other daily activities When Allie is born Brock does manage to make it home on a short leave to watch as she comes into the world Leaving again its about six months when Jesse gets that fateful call With his career possibly gone the use of his leg is uestion and all the other emotions that comes with an injury Brock's mood is understandably grouchy but the way their chanter goes from hot to cold was not enjoyable From his past loses Brock only pushes away the one woman who loves him and offers him a family Going after her Brock makes sure she feels welcomed into his family now that he's finally found his way home If you have this on the nook the formatting is extremely horrible with no paragraph spacing indicating time gone or a different point of view Very annoying and took away from the story

My husband is retired military so I’ve always been a sucker for a good military romance This story drew me right in Jesse got dumped in the worst way She didn’t have time for a broken heart She picked herself up and went to work as a waitress to work a double shift Before the night ended she ended up passing out and landing in the arms of Brock a handsome Navy sailor From that point they became friends He had to deploy shortly after and they emailed daily learning about each other every day That friendship turned into love once he was home Brock had some past issues to deal with He had withdrew from his family many years before because of a tragic accident He thought his family blamed him They didn’t they just wanted to be a part of his life I really felt the emotions when he visited with his family That part really pulled on my heartstrings I loved this story it was funny filled with love and emotions and was also very sweet in places Sample from chapter oneHow embarrassing to fall flat at his feet Maybe if she stayed very still he and the others gathered around would leave her to expire of mortification on her own Yeah she thought as listened to the advice being jockeyed back and forth that was her best course of action She has a good chance of the earth opening up and swallowing her whole This was California after all Where was a good earthuake when you really needed it? “She’s not responding” another voice stated “Time to call 911she needs to go to the hospital”

I don't know why I liked this book so much I thought it was so sweet that a guy would take in a complete stranger a pregnant one at that and take care of her with no hesitation It was the stuff of a weird modern day fairytale
