I have owned this book since 1973 I read it several times and loved it That was the year I graduated from college with a teaching degree but couldn't find a job teaching 30 years later I got the chance to teach in community college Now I'm going to read it againI'm so happy I rediscovered this book Yes it is dated But it makes me remember so many good personal learning experiences It is about a free school but it is also about making community forging relationships and learning to learn without regulations and formalities I would truly love to know how long it lasted and what happened to some of the students I learned that one of the full time teachers is now a distinguished author and professor If you're interested in education and interested in the changes in education in the 70s this is a good start
