I learned many things about baseball from this book For example I did not know that if a fielder goes into the stands to catch a fly ball the ball is foul even though he caught it I also learned that if a ball hits the plate on the pitcher's mound is foul if no one touches it but fair if a fielder does touch itTroon Mcallister displays much of the inside game of baseball in his novel about a young player who can foul
