Dia again and the crows Glum And Screech I Also and Screech I also the new characters Selina the crow Shimmer and our new villain the Mother of Flies I hate flies and her minions were terrific But most of all I loved Caw I love seeing him grow and learn and I just adore him period He s still one of my favorite characters and I can t wait to see where he goes nextThe Swarm Descends is a great seuel to Ferals It s engaging fun and builds the overall world and lore of the Ferals If you liked the first book efinitely check this one out If you idn t the first book efinitely check this one out If you Alcohol Addiction Recovery didn t it anyway You might end up enjoying it I wish I could find the author on Social Media so I can gush about his books but he s nowhere to be found Pulling a JD Salinger eh Anyway can t wait to read the third book Check this out if you re looking for a great new Middle Grade series I m about to share spoilers hereI really enjoyed the first book but futher the story gets even better Moreevious villains slightly complexed characters and even animals to meet I know it s middle grade read but I enjoyed it so much As the Caw adventures continue you see how strong that boy want to o good He is so loyal to both of his homeless friends and his crow Lydia as well Yet this poor orphan is so fast to trust people and he wants nothing than family I think that s why he trusted Selina over and over again Even when she betrayed them several times Caw chooses to find good in people if there is Any Of That Also of that Also admire how he was ready to ie to save a Midnight stone just because it s his family legacy And even then the boy Beating the Odds - From shocking childhood abuse to the embrace of a loving family, one mans true story of courage and redemption did anything he could to protect Lydia and Selina even his crow I just think that Caw is a good role model not even for boys but for girls as well Moreover this book shows strong young girls not let them just swing in the back And it s not just them Every character is one of the kind have hisher own charm and makes you remember them I think even it s a series for younger audience story is well thought Characters build beautifully and nothing feels out of order Both villains and good talkers seems eually strong and because of that sorryon t get boring So if you love fantasy give this 13th year old crow talker a chance and read about his adventures I loved it maybe you will too The Swarm Descends Ferals 2 Jacob Grey After the Spinning Man was banished to the Land of the Dead in an epic struggle between good and evil Ferals Caw s life has become safer free of the Climax (Double Alchemy, darkness that had stalked Blackstone for so long But there s a new villain in town and the Mother of Flies will stop at nothing to make crime corruption and chaosescend once Caw must use every ounce of courage and every friend he can find to face off against some truly terrifying Ferals Dark family secrets will be revealed and he will learn to be very careful about who to trust 2016 St use every ounce of courage and every friend he can find to face off against some truly terrifying Ferals Dark family secrets will be revealed – and he will learn to be very careful about who to trus. The Swarm DescendsThis was probably the weakest book in the series It Took A While To Get Its Villain Out And Get a while to get its villain out and get with the story Lydia was threatened by the new girl Selina which I wasn t a fan of Caw also showed his age which is understandable since he s young and really has no social skills but come on boy listen to the people around you Especially since they ve fought beforeThe Peace DeLeos Action Thriller Singles dynamic between Selina and her absent yetomineering mother was excellent The Mother of Flies was honestly the grossest villain yet and I was suicked out multiple times by the Roots and Blossoms description of flies The final fight against her was awesome Having read book three there was a lot of set up in this book thatid pay off later but it had some pacing issues in the beginning 35 I The Humanities, Higher Education, and Academic Freedom disliked reading the second book of the Ferals series uite a bit actually The main idea of the book was lost on me and I couldn t even tell what the whole point was The addition of Silena Davenport wasn t exciting but of arab Shakespeare decision She and Lyndia fought and argued so much it was like the tale of a love triangle rather than a fantasy adventure The fact that Cawidn t realize that the two girls must ve liked him was lame I mean come on Two girls hanging out with a guy there s got to be some rama there Pretty good seuel and again with a guy there s got to be some rama there Pretty good seuel and again enjoy the concept of humans and animals bonding though I Seers Stone (Hidden Alchemy don t really connect with Crows as a companion That s just me personally and perhaps the final book in the trilogy will sway me towards them I really like Lydia as a character and her tenacity for sticking by Caw and always being willing to help Their friendship is a strained one on someeep level because it always seems that Caw Caveman Alien’s Riddle (Caveman Aliens, does not trust Lydia he again tries to keep her away when he alone must take on some huge task and that s a rather annoying trait Caw has now inefense of that he was raised by crows and has only come to Teaching white South African literature in high school depend on himself so it may be hard to shake old habits and ways ofoing things The antagonists so far have all been creatures that are petulance spiders cockroaches moths rats and flies So many swarms of them Snakes and Dogs too and the most reasonable antagonists sure my point being is I want to see alarming and physically threatening animals to fight Bigger ones The only thing these other creatures have had in their favor is the ability to choke their prey and annoying irritating bites Sure the snakes and spiders had venom but it was just so laid and spiders had venom but it was just so laid and a bit repetitive from the first book I want to see something Got you there are no spoilers I liked the book so here i am with the second bookGod i never know how to start a review okay i ll start with saying that The Swarm Descends was as lovely as Ferals the first book we had a new crow i still love Screech though well it was nothing complex as yummy and cup cakey as the pre. The second book in this gripping high impact high energy new seriesAfter the Spinning Man was banished to the Land of the Dead in an epic struggle between good and evil Ferals Caw’s life has become saf. Vious book and sometimes through the book i felt the Lack Of Depth You Know Like Background For The Events of A Wish Your Heart Makes depth you know like background for the events people in the story also some parts itidn t feel psychologically CORRECT SOME REACTIONS WERE A LITTLE some reactions were a little i ll give you a for instance imagine after about 20 years YOU TELL YOUR WIFEHUSBAND YOU CAN TALK TO ANIMALS tell your wifehusband you can talk to animals one gets angry right away at first they might laugh for a bit then ask you about your health then they might become reaaally amazed at your powers and after a considerably long period of understanding and asking uestions and stuff like that they Agricultural Development: An International Perspective (Johns Hopkins Studies in Development) d get angry at you for not sharing i m not really sure but in my experience people usually react like that theyon t adapt that fast this part of the story bugged me a little but other than that i really liked italso when i first started the series i called Loves Abuse Warrior Camp dibs on the ability to talk to bats someone else got it This series is such a fun fast paced read that I have now finished two of the three books in oneay I m seriously loving Caw and all his crows and friends If it wasn t so late and my neck wasn t bothering me I Contemporary African literature d start on the third one Caw is not finished with adventures this time it begins when a mysterious man give him a stone He tells Caw that he had been entrusted with the stone by Caw s mother who instructed him to give it to Caw and have Caw keep it secretThe problem is that there is a new feral villain in town who willo anything to get the stone from Caw Caw and his friend Lydia along with new companion Selina have to learn what the stone is for and how they can use it to 120 Content Strategies for English Language Learners defeat the Mother of the Flies This series has lots of creepy scenes and the action never stops Caw is a great character who has aeep sense of honor and a Making Me Crazy (Multicultural Romance Series: NHL Billionaire Meets African American Beauty Book 1) deepesire to protect his fellow ferals Not bad for a young teenager who was raised by crows after the Alt 38 Environmental Transformations deaths of his parents and who has just recently learned to interact with humans and other ferals Fans of the first book will be glad to see Caw having new adventures along with his crow companions uite The Novel Idea Words from the Clouds45 starsI know a lot of my bookish friendsidn t enjoy the first book Ferals a lot but I for one loved it SO MUCH Caw became one of my favorite characters ever and I just fell in love with it So naturally I was a bit scared the seuel wouldn t live up to my expectations but it Academic Skills did Because I loved it a whole lot and I wasn tisappointedThe Swarm Descends furthers Caw s story while re introducing us to all the known characters and mixing in totally new ones The writing is still SO great and it reads so fast I read this book in one sitting in two and a half hours I couldn t put it Before the Door Closes down even for a second Suffice to say itoes not suffer from Second Book Syndrome And the characters so much love for all of them I loved seeing Crumb Pip and Ly. Er free of the arkness that had stalked Blackstone for so long But there’s a new villain in town – and the Mother of Flies will stop at nothing to make crime corruption and chaos escend once Caw mu.
