Se who like Seeing Stars will be enjoy this next chapter in the Starstruck Series Not worth the readI was hoping book 2 would not be rushed It was rushed and all over the place If there is a book 3 I won t be bothering 2 I m not a big fan of ambiguity which abounds in this bookThe single POV is thrice depressing not even painfully good as most angst ridden tomes areThe book reads like the diary of a downtrodden wifeMaybe the husband s point of view the cheating that he engages in which is hinted at but we as a reader are never directly exposed to would have elevated the misery that pervades the atmosphere of this novelI could merge with no player in this story as aforementioned the female lead was a creation of dullnessher husband s motives for his wild antics was obscure the story ended up being the caricature the story ended up being the caricature a bad soap operaI like angst as much as the next reader does. Producing the show but casting as well Since Logan will be busy with his movie the studio hires Evan Gable an up and coming director in the independent market to help on the Gateway seuel Alisa’s first impression of Evan leaves a sour taste in her mouth but when she is sent on a scouting trip to New York City with him she mouth but when she is sent on a scouting trip to New York City with him she a different side of him Feelings begin to develop but Alisa is determined to keep him at a safe distance. .
I really wanted to like this book I loved Seeing Stars The seuel was written by a different author I went into it with an open mind The writing seemed really mechanical at the beginning and the flow was all over the place The sex scenes were mild But I don t think I became emotionally invested at all with any of the characters this time Alisa having daydreams about someone else and Logan going back to what he used to do It really didn t make sense to me They were my favorite characters from before At times I felt like was watching a daytime soap opera It felt like Alisa was going through a de ja vu All the things that happened with her first husband I expected with Alisa and Logan I wanted the passion again that was between these two characters It was an ok read but I feel it could have been betterLissa Krys took some fun interesting twists with Alisa s new Hollywood life Tho. You met them in Seeing Stars and now they’re back After celebrating the success of their movie Gateway and a leap into wedded bliss Alisa and Logan Rider separate for a few Months As They Each as they each venture their own new thing Logan is cast in a high budget action film is the stepping stone into the next chapter of his stardom while Alisa has become a writer on the TV show Family Insurance showing great interest in not only.
